Our lives are lived in relationship and I want to help clients build or rebuild healthy, resilient relationships--at home, at work, and wherever you engage people you care about. Relationship issues include parenting education, blended families, sexuality, and spirituality.
For Individuals, Couples & Groups
Sometimes we just need someone to listen to us and help us sort out what we're thinking and feeling. I'm known for my sense of humor and the ability to listen with curiosity and compassion.
In many cases I use cognitive therapy to address depression, anxiety, and anger management. My approach is eclectic, including Gestalt and Family Systems approaches to address a wide variety of problems related to communication, emotional expression, anxiety, and loss. I attend to cultural and individual differences so that the whole person is welcome in the room.
Meeting You Where You Are
We begin where you are and help you get closer to where you'd like to be.
Talking with someone who cares and understands the complexity of life and relationships may help when you need it most. I cannot guarantee that things will work out as you desire, but I will listen and help you plan for the next steps of the journey.
